Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico stated on Tuesday that his country opposes the European Union's decision to impose additional duties on Chinese electric vehicles and emphasized Slovakia's readiness to strengthen cooperation with China in the automotive sector. Fico, who visited China from October 31 to November 5, toured Gotion High Tech, a leading global player in battery technology and energy solutions, in Hefei City, Anhui Province. He also attended the opening ceremony of the 7th China International Import Expo in Shanghai after concluding his visit in Beijing.
