The Yunhe Terraces in east China's Zhejiang Province have a history of over 1,000 years, covering an area of 51 square kilometers and reaching a vertical height of more than 1,200 meters. They span three types of terrain: mountains, hills, and valleys, making them the largest terraced fields in east China. Simple farmers work in the golden rice fields, collecting this season's plump rice grains.
The local cultural and tourism department launched a unique study tour this harvest. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the rice fields while experiencing traditional farming practices, such as cutting and threshing rice and even making handicrafts from rice.
Meanwhile, the city of Yiwu in Zhejiang, known as the "hometown of brown sugar," is currently in its harvest season, and farmers are busy gathering sugarcane.
Join us live to see the terrace and sugarcane harvesting and observe how brown sugar is made.
