Expert: 'Low' politics can better solve problems in the South China Sea

While commenting on the current situation in the South China Sea, Prof. Anna Rosario Malindog-Uy, director and vice president for External Affairs of the Asian Century Philippines Strategic Studies Institute, believes that legal methods will not solve the issues between China and the Philippines and that "low" politics – such as oil and gas exploration, ventures and marine exploration – will be a better way to ease tensions.
