The meetings of senior officials of the Asia Pacific Economic Forum are underway in Lima. Chinese President Xi Jinping is set to attend APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting. Ding Jie, director of the Center for International Relations at the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies, told CGTN that APEC's role as a platform for dialogue is crucial in terms of driving positive change.
