Chancay Port: Key pacific hub from China to Peru

China and Peru had contact at the end of the 16th century, through trade and people-to-people exchanges, along the famous ocean route, "Ruta Marítima de la Seda", through the galleon trade or "Nao de China." Once a quiet coastal city about 80 kilometers from Peru's capital Lima, Chancay, with a brand new mega port, connects with Shanghai across the vast Pacific Ocean. It's set to become one of South America's key trading hubs. On the huge trading potential of the Chancay port, CGTN's Tian Wei asks insiders at the ongoing APEC summit.
