Green and low-carbon development is a priority in China, particularly in the realm of recycling books, clothes and other household items. Mao Zhu and Yan Jun are leading figures in the recycling and refurbishment of second-hand books in China. CGTN talked to them about their team that has developed and patented equipment, including book sterilizers, book grinding machines and biodegradable plastic sealing films. Follow CGTN's Mi Sutong and visit a 6,000-square-meter warehouse operated by a recycling company, Duozhuayu in Tianjin dedicated to inspecting, refurbishing and storing of used books. This factory is equipped with some of the best refurbishment technology in China, allowing it to house 600,000 books and refurbish up to 20,000 books daily.
