A museum built at the 4,300-year-old Taosi relic site officially opened to the public on November 12, in Xiangfen County of Linfen City, north China's Shanxi Province. The two-story museum spreads across five hectares and showcases more than 230 artifacts. The Taosi relic site is a key part of the Exploration of Chinese Civilization's Origins project in China. It provides insight into the early stages of Chinese civilization, dating back 4,000 years to the late Neolithic period.
