The Global South is no longer the "silent majority," said Jin Xin, director of the Research Office of the International Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee. Jin made the remarks ahead of the opening of the second Global South Think Tanks Dialogue on November 13 in Nanjing, east China's Jiangsu Province. The event brings together representatives from think tanks of over 100 countries, alongside Chinese universities and research institutions. It aims to foster discussions on key themes of equality, openness and cooperation among the Global South countries.
