Chinese President Xi Jinping and Peruvian President Dina Boluarte attended the inauguration ceremony of Chancay Port via video link. Located on the Pacific coast of South America, about 80 kilometers north of Lima in Chancay, the port is a key Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) project between China and Peru. Once operational, it will serve as a new hub and gateway to the Pacific for Latin America.
