The Global South Think Tanks Alliance was officially launched in Nanjing, capital of east China's Jiangsu Province, on Thursday. The alliance has already drawn about 200 think tanks from Global South nations. Prominent Chinese universities and research institutions, as well as the China Media Group Think Tank, are also taking part in the alliance. What role can it play, and what are some pressing issues that Global South nations need to address?
