Peruvian youth Anna Paula Peralta Reyes is a student majoring in communication at the University of Lima. She studied at a Chinese school in Peru for 11 years before furthering her studies at Jilin University in China. During her time in China, Anna not only delved into Chinese culture but also forged heartwarming friendships with local residents. She taught Spanish to Chinese children through music and often explored Chinese cuisine and travel with their families, experiencing the warmth and friendliness of Chinese households.
Regarding this year's Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Economic Leaders' Meeting in Lima, Peru, Anna hopes the meeting would focus on cooperation between countries of different development levels to create economic growth opportunities for underdeveloped regions through treaties and other means, contributing to the sustainable development of all APEC members. In the future, she aims to utilize her knowledge of communication to promote cultural exchanges between China and Peru, serving as a bridge between the two peoples.
