Zhongshan Park in downtown Beijing is gorgeous in autumn as the mix of traditional Chinese architecture and the vibrant fall colors create a stunning sight. Once autumn hits Zhongshan Park, it becomes a sea of yellow, thanks to its numerous gingko trees showcasing their beautiful golden hues. The trees look particularly spectacular set against the red temple buildings. A former imperial altar lying southwest of the Forbidden City, the park is home to many pavilions, small gardens and imperial temples in a range of ancient Chinese architectural styles.
