A special exhibition of the works of Italian Renaissance painter Caravaggio has opened at the National Museum of China in Beijing.
The centerpiece is his famous painting "The Penitent Magdalene," which was rediscovered recently after having gone missing for more than 400 years. The show highlights the restoration process of the painting and its significance in the history of Western art.
