The 2024 King Pro League (KPL) Grand Finals concluded in Beijing Workers' Stadium on Saturday evening, with Chengdu AG Super Play claiming the championship. The event attracted over 30,000 spectators to the venue.

It was Beijing's first time hosting a premier esports event since the 2020 Honor of Kings World Champion Cup. The tournament spanned three rounds – single eliminations, breakout matches, and knockout rounds – held in Chengdu, Hangzhou and Changsha before the finalists met in Beijing.

Chengdu AG Super Play bounced back from an early loss to Beijing WB in the qualifiers, advancing steadily through the knockout rounds by defeating Wuhan eStarPro and Suzhou KSG to secure their spot in the Grand Finals. Meanwhile, Chongqing Wolves pulled off thrilling comebacks, including a "one versus two" victory against Jinan RW Xia and Wuhan eStarPro.

The championship match unfolded over six intense battles, with Chengdu AG Super Play seizing the first two victories. Chongqing Wolves rallied in the third and fourth games, with standout performances from key player Cai Youqi, who helped level the score. In the fifth game, AG tightened its grip on the Wolves' core player, Li Daheng, leveraging strategic dominance to take match point. AG finally sealed a 4-2 series victory and claimed their fourth championship title, with member Xie Chengjun awarded the Finals Most Valuable Player (FMVP).

This year's Grand Finals boasted the largest venue, audience capacity and stage design in KPL history. The stage at Beijing Workers' Stadium was 1,500 square meters, with a 70-meter-wide and 30-meter-high giant screen complemented by a 45-meter-long floor screen, offering an immersive experience for the spectators on site.
