Israeli warplanes attacked the office of Syria's Ba'ath Party in central Beirut on Sunday noon, local TV channel al-Jadeed and AFP reported.
"The enemy carried out a strike on Ras al-Nabaa," the official Lebanon National News Agency said, an area near the French embassy and a university.
The security source, requesting anonymity, told AFP the strike targeted "the Lebanese branch of the Syrian Ba'ath Party," whose office is located "in an apartment."
