American native Isabel Nepstad moved to Belem, a city at the mouth of the Amazon River in Brazil, along with her family due to her father's research on the tropical rainforest. "My brother and I got to climb up trees. We'd always see different animals and insects, and hear the animal's sounds," she told CGTN. That's when her passion for nature began.

Now, Nepstad has a company in China that provides consulting services for food and agriculture supply chains in China, Latin America and the U.S. Her company assists companies to implement sustainability practices based on local conditions. Take a look at CGTN's interview with Nepstad, in which she shares her journey to help bridge the "sustainability" gaps for international companies.
