On November 19, Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Brasilia for a state visit to Brazil. During the visit, he and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva announced a new chapter in China-Brazil ties. The two countries signed 38 cooperation agreements, including a joint statement elevating their bilateral ties to a community with a shared future, aiming for a more just world and a more sustainable planet.
