Chinese President Xi Jinping paid a state visit to Brazil after attending the G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro. On Sunday, a signed article by President Xi was published in Brazil's media outlet, Folha de S. Paulo under the title "A Friendship Spanning Vast Oceans, A Voyage Toward a Brighter Shared Future." CGTN invited Brazilian residents and experts to talk about Xi's visit and his article. In this video, we are joined by Fernando Tibúrcio, an international relations scholar from Brasilia and former secretary general of the Civil Affairs Office of the Brazilian state government of Goias. He said he fully agrees with the points made in Xi's article and sees Brazil's ties with China as the country's most successful bilateral relationship.
