China notched a 90-52 victory away to Mongolia in the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup qualifiers on Sunday.
China took a 43-29 lead at the break before taking a 16-2 surge in the third quarter to expand the advantage to 28 points, putting the game beyond reach.
Hu Jinqiu led China with 20 points, followed by 16 points from Cheng Shuaipeng. Liao Sanning added 13 points and nine rebounds. Erdenetsogt Ochirbat was the only Mongolian player to score in double digits with 16 points.
China now sits second in Group C with three wins and one loss, behind Japan. Guam ranks third and Mongolia sits bottom.
