On the afternoon of November 16, Chinese President Xi Jinping met with U.S. President Joe Biden, in Lima, Peru. In light of this meeting, CGTN interviewed Xiaoming Huang, professor of international relations at Victoria University of Wellington. Huang pointed out that in the past, the integration of the Asia-Pacific region was primarily driven by the United States, but this situation is changing. He also believes that the China policy under Trump's next administration will differ from his previous term, stating, "It is you strengthening your own capacity to compete with others rather than creating barriers for others to go further."
