A growing number of tourists are flocking to China as the country expands its visa-free policy to cover more countries in Asia and Europe.
Since late last year, China has progressively implemented unilateral visa-free policies for several countries in Europe and Southeast Asia. China has decided to expand the visa-free policy to ordinary passport holders from Slovakia, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein and South Korea on a trial basis, the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced on November 1. From November 30, citizens of all 38 countries in China's visa-free program can enter the country for business, tourism, visiting family and friends, exchange programs, or transiting, provided their stay does not exceed 30 days.
