In the ninth episode of Meet China, we'll take a closer look at Chongqing and Guangzhou, two of the most important and interesting cities in China.

‪This year, China announced plans to renovate over 100,000 kilometers of underground pipelines annually. And in recent years, many areas have accelerated renovations of underground pipe networks. But such an extensive and important task presents a huge organizational challenge. Our reporter Wang Tianyu traveled to Chongqing to find out how the work is carried out and what benefits renovation brings to businesses.

What's so special about Chongqing? Well, here the subway trains pass through buildings, cableways fly over rivers, and yellow "Ferrari" cabs drift through the streets. Not to mention its unique air of relaxation. CGTN host Gasthoori Manickam visits Chongqing, and discovers what it's like to live and work in this 8D magical city.

Explore the glittering pearl of South China – Guangzhou, a global manufacturing powerhouse where history and modernity converge. From Yongqing Fang, a historic neighborhood home to the Cantonese Opera Museum and Bruce Lee's former residence, to the European-style villas of Shamian Island, and a neon-lit night cruise along the Pearl River, we take you on a tour through the ages of this multifaceted city.
