Lebanon army: ‘The army has begun to strengthen its deployment in the South Litani sector and extend state authority in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), based on “the Lebanese government’s commitment to implement Security Council Resolution 1701 in all its provisions and related obligations, especially with regard to strengthening the deployment of the army and all security forces in the South Litani region.”
