A gallery named "China in Art" was opened on Wednesday in Huzhou City, east China's Zhejiang Province, with an exhibition showcasing works from the country's famous contemporary artists.
The gallery is located in Zhenlu Village, an ancient village known for pieces of silk unearthed over 4,700 years ago.
It is arranged in different sections, including a painting and calligraphy hall, sculpture hall and immersive experience space. Currently, there are 125 masterpieces by top calligraphers, sculptors and painters on display.
Wu Weishan, curator of the National Art Museum of China, Remy Aron, president of the French Association of Arts, and other artists expressed their congratulations on the opening of the gallery via video.
Famous artists, such as Liu Wanming and Chen Jialing, have donated their works to the exhibition.
