Karlis Eihenbaums, Latvian ambassador to China, told CGTN that China is an extremely important partner for Latvia when it comes to the economy. He said one of the best ways to promote bilateral relations is to bring more Latvian companies to China. The ambassador further noted that some Latvian companies have already established production bases in China. "We are working on a program now to bring more Chinese entrepreneurs to Latvia," he said. "This will be for a benefit for both countries."
