The second China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) kicked off in Beijing on Tuesday, themed "Connecting the World for a Shared Future." The five-day event focuses on promoting international cooperation in industrial and supply chains. Foreign officials, exhibitors and guests from Brazil, Mexico, Ethiopia, Liberia and Gambia shared their thoughts with CGTN on what to expect from the expo.
"We're here to understand the needs of Chinese companies and other worldwide companies that are in the expo, presenting the solution that our state might be for South America," said Eduardo Leite, the governor of Rio Grande do Sul State, Brazil. Gambian guest Bubacarr Fadera called for people from around the world to come and see what really China is doing, as "China is a model and one of the most peaceful countries in the world."
