At least five people were reported dead in South Korea as it grappled with heavy snowfall for a second day on November 28.
More than 140 flights were canceled and 76 ferry routes suspended, though conditions showed signs of easing. Local media reported that four people died when a structure collapsed under heavy snow, while another was killed in a bus crash on an icy road.
