A burial ceremony for the remains of 43 Chinese People's Volunteers (CPV) soldiers killed in the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea (1950-1953) was held in Shenyang City, northeast China's Liaoning Province, on Friday.
At the burial ceremony, a 12-gun salute was fired to pay tribute to the fallen heroes.
The remains of the fallen soldiers were returned to China from the Republic of Korea on Thursday. It was the 11th such repatriation since 2014, following a handover agreement signed between the two countries, bringing the total number of returned CPV martyrs to 981.
