Malaysia was hit by its worst floods in a decade on Friday after monsoon rains caused severe flooding that killed at least three people and displaced more than 80,000. The northeastern state of Kelantan was the worst affected, with more than 50,000 people evacuated from their homes. Other affected states included Terengganu, Kedah, Perlis and Perak. The country's meteorological department has indicated that heavy rainfall next month will likely affect more states.
