In order to expand unilateral opening up to least developed countries (LDCs) and realize common development, starting from December 1, 2024, China has granted a zero preferential tariff rate to 100 percent of the tariff lines of products originating from 43 LDCs that have diplomatic relations with it. This demonstrates China's commitment to supporting the growth and prosperity of the world's most vulnerable nations. The move is also expected to enrich the Chinese market with a diverse range of products, satisfying the growing consumer demand for variety and quality.
