Steve Hoffman, CEO of Founders Space, told CGTN that it would be "a big mistake" if incoming U.S. President Donald Trump levies tariffs on goods from countries around the world. He stressed that extra tariffs will not only hurt the U.S. economy but also the global economy, leading to a vicious cycle. China and the U.S. should focus on where there are win-wins, as there are far more win-wins between China and the U.S. than there are losses, he added.
