The Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP) encompasses the entirety of Hainan Island, spanning a total area of 34,000 square kilometers. It offers policy advantages such as low tax rates, enhanced openness in trade, seamless transportation and robust people-to-people exchanges.

At a promotional meeting held at China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday, diplomatic envoys and officials from over 160 countries were introduced to the Hainan Free Trade Port. CGTN reporter Liu Jiaxin explores the unique advantages of the Hainan FTP presented at the event.
