This "Swiss Design Classics" exhibition, offering a glimpse of book designs that have won international acclaim in recent years, also pays tribute to the 80th anniversary of the Most Beautiful Swiss Books competition.
The exhibition features a special section honouring the influential Swiss artist, designer and teacher Max Bill, including furniture, posters, and limited-edition prints designed by Bill.
As a warm-up activity for the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Switzerland in 2025, the "Swiss Design Classics" exhibition is the largest and most complete ever undertaking of original pieces of Swiss design in China.
Jointly hosted by the Embassy of Switzerland in China and the Today Art Museum in Beijing, it will remain open to the public until January 12 next year, followed by a few touring exhibitions in Nanjing, Shenzhen and Shanghai.
