The 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Nepal will be celebrated with a range of events in both countries throughout 2025, said Nepali Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli.
In an exclusive interview with China Media Group, Oli said Nepal is ready to strengthen bilateral ties with China at both governmental and people-to-people levels.
"This is a very important year for us, and we will exchange high-level visits and exchange opinions, ideas, etc., as well as exchange what we can do for each other to support each other," said Oli.
He noted that China's initiative to designate 2025 as the "Beijing Nepali Year" is expected to have a profound impact on Nepal's tourism sector.
