"Mr. Snowman," one of the key attractions at the 37th Harbin Sun Island International Snow Sculpture Art Expo in Heilongjiang Province, has been completed. The 20-meter-high sculpture, which took 4,000 cubic meters of snow to build, is currently the tallest snowman in Harbin.
This year's expo will showcase more than 260 snow sculptures using approximately 150,000 cubic meters of snow – the largest amount in the event's history. A variety of winter activities, including snow sports events and snow sculpture competitions, will also be held as a cultural and tourism warm-up activity for the 9th Asian Winter Games, which is set to take place in Harbin in February 2025.
