Located in Fengning Manchu Autonomous County, in north China's Hebei Province, the Fengning Pumped Storage Power Station is the largest pumped-storage hydroelectric power station in the world. With the operation of the twelfth and final reversible turbine unit, this cutting-edge facility has a total installed capacity of 3.6 gigawatts and is operated by the State Grid Corporation of China.
