China's Chen Long was inducted into the 2024 BWF Hall of Fame, along with Lee Yong-dae from South Korea.
The 35-year old Chen played a central role during whats called a golden era for Chinese badminton. With a proven track record for performing under pressure, the Chinese will go down as one of his country's greatest ever players.
His career achievements include an Olympic gold medal at Rio 2016, a silver at the next Games in Tokyo, as well as a bronze from London 2012. He also claimed two World Championships and 22 Super Series and World Tour titles.
Meanwhile, Lee is inducted for a remarkable career as a doubles specialist, winning a gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
