This year marks the 25th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland. Over the course of 25 years, the moderate diversification of Macao Special Administrative Region's economy has accelerated, improving its economic strength. The city is continuously shining its culturally diverse and inclusive charm to the world. CGTN interviewed overseas youth studying or working in Macao Special Administrative Region, asking them to share their reasons for choosing Macao.

In this episode, Meury Ferreira, an Angolan master's student in global public health at the University of Macau, shared her views on Macao. "As a foreigner, I find the educational environment in Macao to be very diverse. It is a very foreigner-friendly city," she said. She also noted that the development of the Greater Bay Area (GBA) has brought many opportunities to Macao, aligning well with her own career plans. "The construction of the Greater Bay Area allows Macao the opportunity to invest in innovative technologies. I am considering working in Macao or the GBA in the future."
