The second China environmental, social and governance (ESG) model event organized by China Media Group was held in Beijing recently to highlight outstanding enterprises, reported China Central Television.

With "growth" as its core theme, this year's event showcased the changes and progress of Chinese enterprises in the field of ESG. 

Companies named China's "ESG models" included China Post Group, China Southern Power Grid, China Huaneng Group and Xiaomi Group.

The concept of ESG has increasingly become a universal system for evaluating the sustainable development and social responsibility of enterprises.
