Canadian skaters delivered a commanding performance on Day 2 of the Short Track Speed Skating World Cup in Seoul, South Korea, capturing three golds and two silvers across four events.
In the men's 1,500-meter, Canada's world champion William Dandjinou took the lead with an inside track overtaking move and maintained his advantage until the end. He finally won the gold in 2 minutes, 14.313 seconds.
In the men's 500-meter, Olympic champion Steven Dubois dominated to win the title in 41.681 seconds. Fellow Canadian Jordan Pierre-Gilles finished second.
The country's dominance also extended to the women's 3,000-meter relay, where they secured gold in 4 minutes 11.634 seconds.
In the women's 1,000-meter race, South Korea's Kim Gil-li crossed the finish line in 1 minute, 30.884 seconds, ahead of Canada's Danae Blais and three-time Olympic champion Choi Min-jeong.
