Amid the concrete jungles of Beijing, Chaoyang District offers a breath of fresh air with natural havens like the Liangma River and Dongba Country Park. These lush green spaces have become popular escapes for residents who come to bike, walk their dogs, cruise the waterways, and soak in the tranquility of nature.
The forest coverage rate of Chaoyang District has reached 48.08 percent. Urban green space area and the park green space area rank first in the city, with 68 boundary-free parks covering an area of more than 2,100 hectares and about 310 kilometers of greenways at all levels.
