In the IBSF World Cup in Sigulda, Lativa, China's Li Chunjian and Shi Yaolong finished sixth in the two-man bobsleigh, while Chinese pair Sun Kaizhi and Ye Jielong came 13th. 

19 pairs took part in the competition. Li and Shi finished their first round in a time of 49.81 seconds to rank sixth, while Sun and Ye were slightly slower in 50.20 seconds, ranking 12th. 

In the second round, Li and Shi got a result of 50.03 seconds and finally ranked 6th with an overall result 1 minute, 39.87 seconds. Sun and Ye ended up 13th with a combined time of 1 minute 40.80 seconds. 

Germany's legend Francesco Friedrich partnered with Simon Wulff to top the podium in a time of 1 minute, 38.68 seconds for the 34-year-old Friedrich's 49th two-man bobsleigh World Cup title.
