2024 marks 25 years since Macao's return to China. Over the past 25 years, the Macao Special Administrative Region's (SAR) economy has taken solid steps toward moderate diversification. CGTN talked to overseas entrepreneurs and students in the Macao SAR to share why they chose the city.
In this episode, a South Korean entrepreneur, Kim Yong-jin, who operates two businesses in the Macao SAR, said he is optimistic about the city's economic outlook because Macao has a convenient geographical location and excellent business environment for overseas companies. He believes the development of the Greater Bay Area will help Macao develop a diversified economy. "Macao's entrepreneurial environment is friendly to foreigners. I have received a lot of support from the Macao SAR government," he said.
