The 2024 Beijing Forum on Swift Response to Public Complaints will be held at the China National Convention Center on December 18 and 19. The permanent theme of the forum is "People's City, Better Future," and the theme for 2024 is "Modernizing for People-Centered Urban Governance." In this video, Mahya, an Iranian student in Beijing, speaks about her experience living in China. For her, the most valuable thing about China is people. From the teachers at school to the strangers on the street, everyone has a warm and friendly attitude. Another thing she admires China for is its fight against air pollution. When she first came to Beijing smog was an issue, but now blue skies are the norm thanks to a string of eco-friendly people-centered policies.
