The Beijing Forum on Swift Response to Public Complaints is an international platform dedicated to exploring innovative and practical solutions to public service issues and sharing experiences in urban governance. This year's forum is scheduled for December 18-19 in Beijing. The permanent theme of the forum is "People's City, Better Future," and this year's special theme is "Modernizing for People-Centered Urban Governance."

In this video, Fernando Munoz Bernal, a Colombian vlogger who has lived in China for more than 20 years, shares his perspective on China's development. He highlights that China's 45,000 kilometers of high-speed rail has created numerous development opportunities for its people. In the construction of infrastructure like high-speed rail, the Chinese government prioritizes benefiting its citizens over generating profits for operators. This approach, he says, distinguishes China from the West and reflects China's people-centered philosophy of development.
