M7.3 quake hits Vanuatu, tsunami warning issued

A magnitude-7.3 earthquake jolted 30 kilometers west of Port Vila, the capital of Vanuatu, at 12:47 p.m. on Tuesday, the United States Geological Survey reported. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center has issued a tsunami warning following the quake.
