In April 2017, the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the Chinese State Council decided to establish the Xiong'an New Area in Hebei Province. The Xiong'an New Area has developed rapidly in the last seven years. Buildings have been erected, roads have become interconnected, and the "city of the future" has changed with each passing day. Today, the digital life in the Xiong'an New Area has begun to take shape. 

Cao Mengxin, a host at the Hebei International Communication Center, and Petrenko Ekaterina, a Russian student from Hebei Vocational University of Industry and Technology, visit the Xiong'an New Area to learn about Xiong'an's three cities of "above-ground city, underground city and cloud city" and how this practice benefits Chinese people.
