"Macau 2049," Zhang Yimou's new show fusing Chinese traditions with advanced technology, premiered in Macao on December 15. The 80-minute show features live performances, celebrating Chinese intangible cultural heritage in eight parts. As a collaboration between entertainment giant MGM and world-renowned director Zhang Yimou, the show aims to further strengthen Macao as the "City of Performing Arts", while injecting vitality into the city's cultural tourism industry.
