During the 2024 Beijing Forum on Swift Response to Public Complaints, an interview was conducted with Edgar Orrin Crossman III, an American who has lived in Beijing's hutongs for most of his life. His extensive residency has provided him with a unique perspective, allowing him to observe and compare the differences in urban governance concepts between China and foreign countries.
