In the Chinese Basketball Association, the Shanghai Sharks beat the Shenzhen Leopards 103-99 on the road to claim their sixth straight win, with Kenneth Lofton netting a triple-double of 22 points, 18 rebounds, and 10 assists.

In the opening quarter, Shenzhen's He Xining sank a three-pointer, and Markell Johnson added another triple for the Leopards, who went in front by five. The Sharks found their rhythm in the second quarter, with Lofton's efforts helping the visitors turn things around, and they took a six-point lead into the halftime break.

Shanghai extended its edge in the third quarter, with three-pointers from Lofton and D.J. Wilson. Zhou Peng replied for Shenzhen with his own triple to close the gap to three before Lofton drove in for a nice layup to increase the lead to five for the Sharks. The former NBA forward added another bucket to push Shanghai's advantage back to three, and then he drove in for another layup to put the icing on the cake for the visitors with less than a minute left. The Sharks won by four and moved up to 15th place, while the Leopards dropped to 18th.
